Catch the Wind - Fingerstyle Guitar Solo  Sample  Lesson Sample Download

Donovan was one of many folk rock balladeers from the 60's and 70's with memorable lyrics and melodies. In this lesson we will learn a beginner level fingerstyle solo arrangement of his hit "Catch the Wind." 

This lesson is taught completely "By Ear" using no print, tab or video. When you learn "By Ear" you memorize the song as you go while at the same time developing you ability to pick out other songs "By Ear."

The lesson starts with a complete demonstration of the arrangement that you can use to listen to and practice along with. After that the song is taught in two to four measure sections without the use of print or video. Every string, fret and finger are described as well as any performance techniques. Each track of the lesson teaches a two to four measure section of the song so it is easy to navigate through the recording and pick up where you left off. 

This solo is suitable for most beginner level guitarists.
