Intro to the Bass Guitar for the Visually Impaired Course Sample This totally tape/CD-driven course teaches the student the names of the parts of the bass guitar, the names of the notes, and the most commonly used rhythm patterns for the bass including: The Pop/Rock Pattern, the Alternate Bass Pattern, the Waltz Pattern, and 6/8 and 9/8 time patterns.
This course is taught totally “by ear” using no written notation making it a good choice for those who don’t read music. The course covers about 3 to 6 months of private lessons. Once you have learned the basics taught in this course you can start learning the Bass by Ear songs listed below.

Intro to the Drums for the Visually Impaired Course Sample In this totally tape/CD-driven course the student will learn posture, warm-up, setting-up, the Rock, Waltz and Polka Patterns, the Swing Rhythms and several Dance/Rap patterns. They will also learn timing and the rudimentary rolls. This course is loaded with 40 tracks to listen to and play-along with.
This course uses no print notation so it is perfect for those who don't read music. The course covers about 3 to 6 months of private lessons.
